1400 SERIES QUICK-ACTING DOORS

FREEMAN MARINE'S Quick-Acting door is designed to fill a need in the marine industry for handsome, double skinned, fully insulated doors, suitable for both yacht and commercial use. ·

• 1400 Series Doors offer the utmost in versatility and can be custom fabricated for unique shapes with camber, knuckles and sloping surfaces. FREEMAN'S patented chain-drive dogging system allows the installation of large, centrally located and specially shaped windows; this design feature is not available on competitive products.

• Doors are easily dogged by actuating a single, centrally mounted handle; several styles of internal and external handles are available. Remotely actuated dogging options are also available.

• The quick-acting dogging system utilizes a patented chain drive mechanism that is fully contained between the inner and outer skins of the door, affording protection from the elements.

• Latching dogs are easily adjustable with simple hand tools.

• Doors are normally supplied with four to six dogs; additional dogs can be specified for larger doors.

• A keyed locking system that secures all the dogs by engaging the drive chain is a popular option.

• Several hinge configurations are available including surface, barrel, concealed yoke and pantograph.

Freeman Quick-Acting Doors feature quality construction marine grade aluminum, 316L stainless steel, and other durable marine grade materials are used throughout. All doors are fully welded internally with doublers at all seams, and cross-braced to provide even more rigidity.

For weather tight rated installations, 1420 Series Doors featuring an adjustable sealing stop in the door coaming should be specified. Where watertight ratings are required, 1430 Series Doors that utilize knife-edge sealing and a large gasket surface are the correct choice.
