CRAFTSMAN TRAINING AND
CERTIFICATION: Freeman Marine craftsmen
participate regularly in training and certification programs
to gain new skills, update capabilities and certify
compliance with industry standards for design, machining,
welding, fabrication, painting and other specialized skills.
Freeman's goal is to constantly improve not only its
products but also the quality of life and work for it's
valued employees.
CERTIFICATES AND
ACCEPTANCES: Most closure applications
require a stand-alone specific review, approval and a
certificate issued from a classification society.
Freeman Marine constantly monitors maritime regulations
standards and classification society activities related
to closure approvals. While "type approvals" for
structural aspects and performance exist for some
products or components, blanket acceptance/class
approvals do not exist for closures installed in classed
vessels; each is a stand alone circumstance-specific
review and acceptance event.
